The fan stopped but I don't know if that was coincidence, i.e. fan running for a few minutes before stopping or that was the fix (I have heard of others giving the relay a thump on the top). Each plug should measure around 1 ohm roughly. By testing them all connected together you are measuring resistors in parallel which is probably why you see a near dead short. For argument sake, 4 glow plugs @1.2 ohms each. 1/RT = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 + 1/R4. 1/RT = 0.83 + 0.83 + 0.83 + 0.83.

1: blown fuse. 2: diesel glow plugs failing,.. see fuses. 3: cam timing off. (belt drive? yes on some) they fail easy. 4: injectors dead, 5: bad fuel. or water in the fuel. old fuel gone bad. 6: fuel pumps dead, or not primed. scan the PCM see if here are DTC errors. first.

Join Date: Sep 2015. Location: cheshire. Posts: 96. Likes: 13. Received 11 Likes on 9 Posts. Have it plugged in but two common faults are glow plug relay or glow plugs normally. Bonnet lock replacement is about £40 from fords but you can use your original barrel to save building the new barrel up.

My nephew has a fiesta 08 reg 1.6 ghia , he got the p0380 code after a fair bit of reading most people resolved this buy new set of glow plugs , so after putting a full set of plugs in still getting
